This is Why I Live in the Country

OK.  Second’s up.

Cars.  Traffic.  People.  You don’t see any cars.  I don’t see any cars, and that’s why I live in the country.

I hate traffic.  I hate all the noise and speed and bustle of cars and trucks whizzing everywhere.  I love the quiet and peace of a road with no cars.

At times I might wonder why I chose to live in such a cold harsh climate, but when I get out on the road, and this is what I see, I remember why I live here.  I’m the only car on the road!

Someone said once, years ago, “Traffic jam on my way to work?  Me.”  That’s it in a nutshell.  Me.  I’m the only car on the road.

And that’s why I live in the country.
